About Slovus
Slovus is an independent semantic word game where the answer is found through meaning, associations, and context rather than letters.
What you can play
Word of the Day, unlimited games, custom words, host mode, duels, archive, statistics, and separate dictionaries for every language edition.
Meaning instead of letters
Slovus is an independent semantic word game. You do not build an answer from letter tiles; you find it through context, associations, and meaning.
Every guess becomes a clue. The game exercises vocabulary, flexible thinking, and the ability to notice relationships between ideas that are easy to miss.
What is available
Slovus includes a daily challenge, unlimited games, custom words, Host Mode, duels, an archive, personal statistics, achievements, and a fair-play leaderboard.
- Separate vocabularies and daily answers for Ukrainian, English, Spanish, and Russian.
- Guest play without forced registration.
- Progressive hints, localized result cards, and saved progress.
How Slovus is developed
Vocabulary additions are checked automatically and manually. Player suggestions reveal gaps, but they are not added to live games until their language and semantic quality have been reviewed.
Slovus is a small independent product. Hosting, language models, backups, and new features are maintained by the creator with optional community support.
A separate word world for each language
The Ukrainian, English, Spanish, and Russian editions have separate daily answers, dictionaries, semantic data, archives, and statistics. Slovus does not translate one answer across every edition; each language uses words and associations that feel natural to its speakers.
This matters because an association can be strong in one language and weak in another. Separate datasets let the team improve one edition carefully without changing completed games in the others.
How words are reviewed
A daily or unlimited answer should be understandable, independent, and rich enough to support a useful path of associations. Before a word enters a game pool, its spelling, dictionary coverage, nearest words, and route from broad concepts to the answer can be reviewed.
Player suggestions are not published automatically. They enter a review queue, so random strings, narrow proper names, misspellings, and words with poor semantic neighborhoods can be rejected without weakening the main game.
Free play and independent development
The main game starts without an account. Registration is useful for history, streaks, achievements, and account recovery, not as a gate before the first guess.
Slovus is developed as an independent project. Player support and future restrained advertising can fund servers, models, and dictionaries, while active word entry should remain free from disruptive ad placements.
